New records of Dispas albifrons (Serpentes, Dipsadidae) in the Atlantic Forest of Minas Gerais, Brazil, with morphological data

The snake Dipsas albifrons (Sauvage, 1884) is endemic to the Atlantic Forest in Brazil, occurring from southern state of Bahia to the state of Santa Catarina. Disjunct populations are known, with a previous record for the state of Minas Gerais. New records are presented for Minas Gerais, with areas of the geographic distribution of D. albifrons occurring in the mountain complexes of the Planalto Meridional (Southern Plateau) of the Serra do Espinhaço and the Quadrilátero Ferrífero (Iron Quadralangle), as well as Vale do Rio Doce in the eastern part of the state. Data of pholidosis and morphometry of the specimens analyzed from Minas Gerais are presented.
